Installation Instructions:
The following
is a step by step guide to installing your cruising guide on your computer.
Please ensure that you are completing the installation on the specific computer
you wish to use the product on, as the cruising guide will be locked to one
computer.
Step 1: Download
Click on the “Download" link above and save the file to your desktop.
Step 2: Install
2.1 Once the files have been downloaded there will be a new icon placed on your desktop, click on this:
2.2 Click on the OK button
2.3 A self extraction program will then unzip the required files to the following folder: C:\CAA. (Click on the Unzip button)
2.4 Once the self extraction program has finished you will be asked to open or save a file to disk. Please save this file to a convenient location such as your desktop as this is the shortcut you will use to access the cruising guide. *Please note: If you are using the Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System once the files have been unzipped the cruising guide will automatically open in a browser window instead of the previous step. At some stage you will need to copy the Cruising Anchorages Australia shortcut from the folder C:\CAA to the desktop yourself, (cruising anchorages australia.lnk) and this will be what you click on to open the cruising guide.
1: Go to the folder C:\CAA.
2.5 You can then double click on the new Cruising Anchorages Australia Icon to access your cruising guide. However, you will need to activate your copy of Cruising Anchorages Australia via email before the secure PDF files in the guide will be unlocked.
Step 3: Email verification
Please ensure that you are completing the installation on the
specific computer you wish to use the product on, as the cruising guide will be
locked to one computer.
Once you have
created a shortcut on your desktop simply double click on the icon to open the
cruising guide. However before you can access the files you must register with ‘Locklizard’
to unlock the files. In the payment
process you were required to enter an email address, please access this email
address and follow the instructions in the message.
